About DO Conca de Barberà

Our vineyards currently cover 3,800 hectares, and produce an average of 150,000 hectoliters of wine per year. The first official regulations for DO Conca de Barberà were approved on November 19, 1985 by the Catalonian Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fishing. These regulations were then modified on September 29, 1989. On December 14, 1989, the Spanish Ministry of Farming, Fishing, and Food ratified the modified regulations, granting our DO official status across Spain and worldwide.
