From Vimbodí Vimbodí, together with Montblanc, are the two municipalities that have the most surface within the protected space of the Prades mountains. An excursion on foot or on bike between the two towns allows a passage through paths with many signs, among leafy forests and you may admire from the Cistercian monastery of Poblet to the Sant Joan Chapel. In Vimbodí we can find the church of Transfiguració del Senyor, the Glass Museum, the Torrents chapel, the Riudabella and Milmanda castles, and the Cistercian monastery of Poblet (XII Century), an authentic architectural jewel. Very close we can find the Pena viewing point, surrounded by vegetation, where we can contemplate a magnificent panoramic view. |
