Conca de Barberà is one of the oldest towns of the region that gives it its name. From its beginnings the ‘castle dels templers’ (XII-XIII Centuries) has been its witness, although it has been submitted to many modifications along the centuries. We recommend going al the way to Prenafeta, where the remains of the old town centre and the castle (X Century) are found, the Museo de la Viña y el Vino, and the Santa Anna roman chapel.
The two main attractions of Pira are its modernist winery and the Celdoni family home. The passage of the Anguera river through the town has an enchanting beauty. We recommend an excursion to Ollers, a district of Conca de Barberà. |
