Cava
Gran Reserva Brut Nature Carles Andreu
With a neatly done selection of the macabeo and parellada base wines, coming from the vineyards of a balanced production and only in the years where the grape harvest was excellent, we have elaborated this cava. The taking of the foam is done very slowly in our cellars, at a constant temperature of 14ºC. The ageing time is prolonged to 36 months, achieving the contribution the yeast of the peculiar characteristics of our cava Gran Reserva.
Of a pale gold colour, with a fine and constant rosary of bubbles, it presents very fruity to the taste with a certain ageing touch remnants. It is soft in the mouth, with a good structure, franc, fresh and persistent, with a burst of bubbles that gives a pleasing tickling sensation.
Cava Brut Nature Carles Andreu
Within the cava region, one of the districts with a different micro-climate is in the Conca de Barberà. With typical varieties of the region, macabeo and parellada, we elaborate our brute nature with a minimum ageing of 18 months. It is offered to taste as a young cava, easy to sample but with a strong personality. It expresses part of its relative youth to sight: with a straw yellow colour with green tones, the bubbles form a persistent crown in the glass.
Fruity to the nose with white fruit (pineapple and pear) remnants, with a fine and subtle aroma.
The impression received is of sensuality and enthusiasm.
Cava
Rosat Extra Brut Carles Andreu
One of the different characteristicsof Conca de Barberà, within the cava region, is the production of rose wines in a cava base with a native variety, the trepat. Our rose extra brut is exclusively elaborated with this variety, perfectly adapted to our climate. On one side, the trepat gives it generosity and strength, and on the other, freshness and youth.
The impression to the taste is particular.
Its lively cherry colour gives it tenderness and romanticism.
A fine pearl necklace continuously detaches but slowly, forming
a white circular crown in the interior of the glass. To the taste,
the perceptions fill us with enthusiasm, with an elegant and particular
fruitiness. Various sensations in the mouth: intensity, unction,
complexity, that, together with its vivaciousness, takes us to
a combination of very pleasingsensory perceptions during the sampling.
Cava Reserva Barrica Brut Nature Carles
Andreu
Aged wine in French oak casks for around six months before the
second fermentation in the bottles. The cava is then aged in the
cellars for 30 months.
Trepat Carles Andreu
Red wine coming from vines 50 year-old of Trepat, aged for 6 months
in new French oak barrels. Unique and with a very distinctive
personality.
