History

Three generations and one illusion. A bet on high quality wine from Conca de Barberà.

In the region of Conca de Barberà, an incomparable frame for its natural beauty and exceptional for its vine growing richness, we find the Villa de Montblanc. It is in the Partida de Vinyols where we can find the estate in which the Foraster family has cultivated vineyards and olives for more than 150 years.

In 1998, we decided to build our small winery which combines the most traditional process with modern machinery, to make our project a reality of elaborating quality red wine and from our own harvest. All our wines are elaborated from grapes of our own vineyards, situated around the winery, this way we can control the complete process, from the harvest to the bottle.

You can find our wines in Catalonia, Spain and in other countries such as United States, Mexico, France, United Kingdom or Switzerland; but in very limited quantities because we believe that to achieve maximum quality, production must be extremely limited.

Montblanc preserves a magnificent monumental patrimony: streets, squares, churches, hospitals, palaces, noble homes and its walled city give it a medieval air that makes it specially attractive. You should not let the opportunity go by of also visiting the Regional Museum.

From Vila Ducal you can visit the Sant Josep and Sant Joan chapels or the districts of Guardia del Prats, Lilla, Rojals and Prenafeta. In the last one you can visit the Museo de la Viña y el Vino. (The Wine and Vineyard Museum).
