History
Cal Celdoni's family represents
a symbol of tradition, and to the time, is already a sign of
contemporaneousness in the agriculture of the regions of Tarragona.
It is a symbol of the agricultural tradition, and especially
of the viticulture, so much in the time in which it comes developing
it´s activity, - from
1604-as for it´s leadership in the culture of the grapevine,
being admitted it´s historical role in the quality
of the grape, in the methods of work and in the charisma that,
generation to generation, Cal Celdoni has had in the Catalan "pagesia".
Today - to the beginning of
the century twenty-one when expire four hundred years of the
first news that we have of our family and of our vocation as
the vineyard, the grape and the wine, express our commitment
with the history of the family, on having initiated a project
that wants to be contemporary so much for the new ideas, the
new concepts and the new methods that the last generation of
Cal Celdoni is going to propose to the global society. A vision
of future since traditionally always it was, it defines the
position of the current generation of Cal Celdoni who, to develop
it´s project, has selected and acquired
estates of extraordinary quality. The territorial authority-200
hectares - and the territorial diversity - different regions
and D.O. - it should us allow - close to the ideas related
to the Mediterranean diet, the new atmosphere “agroalimentaria”,
the incorporation of extraordinary professionals and the vocation
of internationalization - to attract to our project a society
with worries, anxious to possess the property of a vineyard,
of having a great wine with your name or enjoying your private
warehouse.
Cal Celdoni, who traditionally has dealt with the vineyard and
the grape, is opened today something more: the Mediterranean
Diet. In effect, Cal Celdoni wants to lead a project in key of
Mediterranean Diet in which the vineyard and the wine are only
the first appearance on the global market, and that very in the
short term will propose it´s project of dried fruits, olive
trees and oil. Wine, nuts and olive oil are the current steps
inside this new atmosphere agroalimentaria Mediterranean of Cal
Celdoni.
This one is a historical contribution that extends the modal
of traditional quality of the labor of the family. Another contribution
is the positioning in the new viticulture of precision, the enology
of design, the intensive plantations of dried fruits and the
maximum investigation and innovation. Welcome to this moment
of the history of a land, a family, a culture and a legendary
product. Welcome to a symbol of the Conca de Barberá and
of the Alt Camp
